Lipa Asrang Sanctuary is a must-see tourist destination for nature enthusiasts and those who want isolation. It is located at a height of 4,000 to 5,022 metres. The sanctuary covers an area of approximately 30.89 square kilometres. This sanctuary is home to a diverse range of vegetation, including dry coniferous forest, dry alpine scrub, dwarf juniper scrub, dry wide leaves, western Himalayan temperate forest, and coniferous forest.
Yak, Leopard, Ibex, Goral, Brown Bear, Blue Sheep, Himalayan black Beer, Musk Deer, and other animals are often found in this reserve. This refuge is not open to random travellers. As a result, they must obtain prior authorization to enter the sanctuary.
