Jibhi – Scenic Hamlet in the Banjar Valley

Jibhi is an charming unexplored hamlet in the Himalayas, be prepared to be pleasantly surprised by the overwhelming beauty of this place and the meadow nature walks surrounding it. Jibhi is a homely jewel in the midst of spectacular beauty. Cached in between the eminent valleys of Kullu, Banjar might be the market and Jalori Pass the pretty crown, but Jibhi is the bond that represents its values.

Jibhi is hardly a 2 hour journey away from Aut tunnel on the Delhi-Manali Highway. It lies in Banjar Valley and is at a distance of about 8-10 km from Banjar. There are lush green pine forests with a pristine waterfall in Jibhi. Jibhi is perfect for numerous short hikes close by and offers surreal mountain views encompassing traditional village life. Doli Guest House in Jibhi is an all time favourite with travellers.

Places in Jibhi are nearby. It is easy to commute and better to be on foot since the views are mind-blowing. Plus, there is no better way to explore a place than walking. However, for far off places, taking a taxi is the only option if you are not comfortable with hitchhiking.
